OUR VISION

The Scenic Rim Agricultural Industrial Precinct will be the new home for advanced manufacturing of food and fibre in South East Queensland.

The Precinct will be powered by Australia’s first closed loop renewable waste-to-energy system, converting agricultural and food waste and feedstock crops into green power, green gas and biofertiliser.

This Precinct is located at Kalbar, one hour south west of Brisbane, where the raw ingredients grow and close to key markets and transport routes.

It will future-proof the region’s agriculture by providing a home for the development of new greenfield value-adding and agricultural manufacturing businesses and a sustainable, renewable energy source.
